Sometimes we are tempted to think that God is angry with us, especially if we are experiencing trials or negative consequences. When Adam and Eve sinned in their prepared place, they did not respond when God called them. (Genesis 3:8-10)
Sometimes we know God is calling us, but we don't respond. Sometimes other people's negativity towards us becomes our own negative self-talk. This plays into our enemy's hands, causing us to disqualify ourselves from God's love.
The truth is that God sacrificed His only Son for our redemption before we were even born. The way was paved for us to find Him. He calls to our heart throughout our lives. He wants us to know Him and His wonderful mysteries to victory in life.
Whether unsaved, lost, backslidden, weary, defeated, or faithful believer, God has a love note for us in Scripture. God wants to help, heal, and restore. When we let Him into our hearts, we will marvel at what a wonderful God is, was, and will always be!
